2022 Alumni Giving Challenge

The Edgewood Education Foundation hosted the 2nd annual Alumni Giving Challenge - an opportunity for EISD alumni and friends to donate to student scholarships. Each year the Foundation awards two scholarships to two seniors from each high school (Edgewood Fine Arts, JFK, and Memorial). Through this campaign, the Foundation pledges to award additional scholarships and match (up to $3,000) the high school that raised the most funds.

The competition coincided with the Salsa Bowl football game between John F. Kennedy High School and Memorial High School on November 4, 2022.

Alumni, students, employees, families, and friends were invited to participate and donate to our student scholarship funds from October 1 to November 6, 2022.

John F. Kennedy will receive an additional $400 for their 2023 scholarships.
